Gala Event Details

LOCATION:

The Olympic South Side Theater
1202 3rd St SE

The venue is in the NewBo District in Cedar Rapids at the corner of 3rd St SE & 12th Ave SE.
It is located on the second floor of the same building as Caucho and Brewhemia.
The entrance is on the parking lot side of the building.
You are welcome to use the stairs or the elevator.

PARKING:

All parking in the NewBo neighborhood is free.
There are parking spaces along both sides of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th streets and 16th Avenue.
Lot 44 is two blocks away on 12th Avenue and 2nd Street and is free after 5 pm.

TICKETS:

You will not need to show a ticket at the door. 
We will have a printed guest list at check-in.  

FOOD/DRINK:

There will be a cash bar with a wide selection of wine, beer, and spirits.

There will be a charcuterie-like Nibble Board available upon arrival. 
Around 6 pm, our chefs will open two food stations, each with a different tasting menu,
including vegetarian options.  A fourth station will have dessert.

SILENT AUCTION:

We encourage you to take a look at our Silent Auction online before Thursday night
and register if you are interested in bidding. 

All of the items will be on display at The Olympic during the Gala.
The auction will end during the event (at 8:15 pm).   

DRESS ATTIRE:

Business to Cocktail

TABLES:

You are welcome to use any of the tables and sofas throughout the space
(in the main ballroom, on the second floor, or on the stage).
There are no reserved tables.  

PROGRAM:

We have split our program into three short segments
with the first one beginning around 6:15 pm.

PHOTOS:

A professional photographer will be taking photos that will immediately text you a link to download them.
